We've only seen this once, and not sure why, but here's the fix if it happens.

A user reported getting an error message while registering ToonIt (this probably applies to all our plugins). After entering in his serial number info and clicking OK, ToonIt came back with:

Unable To Save License

What this means is that ToonIt can't save the registration info to the file on disk where all that info is stored. That file allows our plugins to open up without you having to constantly re-enter your serial number.

In this case, there was an older License file that was created by one of our other plugins. The fix for this was:

- Locate the Licenses.txt file (on Vista, that's c:\ProgramData\Digital Anarchy)
- Rename the Licenses.txt file to something like 'xLicenses.txt'. This clears the way for the new plugin to create a file from scratch. But we don't want to delete the old file just yet.
- Reopen the new plugin in Photoshop (or After Effects) and enter in your registration info.
- This should now work and a new Licenses.txt file is created.
- Copy the info from the old Licenses.txt file (the xLicenses.txt file) into the new Licenses.txt file.

Everything should now work.

If you can give us more details about the problem we can help you out.

What product are you using and what is happening?
