The safest way to get your vector paths into 3D Invigorator is to select 'Illustrator 10' from the file save dialog. Illustrator will complain that this is a legacy format and ask you if you're sure you want to do this. Yes, you want to do it. It will make sure Invigorator can read the file.

What part of the API are you using to access the builtin filters? You should be able to access ToonIt as well. Although, to be honest I'm not that familiar with script/batch. Drop me a line at jim@digitalanarchy.com and let me know exactly what you're trying to do and we'll give you what help we can.

Well, that's sort of the point. In many cases the up rezzed version is indistinguishable from the very high quality version with takes almost 3 times longer to render. So for many uses you can render out at half the size and scale it up 200% and that will speed things up without your client noticing any difference.

Jim

Hello,

I am a developer (VB6 and VB.net) and I am looking to use something like ToonIt for a project I am working on.  I have found good examples of automating PhotoShop (currently using CS4) and can apply the built-in filters programitically (using VB 6) but I would like to know if the same can be done with your filter.

Thanks!

.bmp files work the same as any other digital image once you bring it into Photoshop. Once a digital image is in Photoshop, it's no longer affected by the original file format. So you can use the same techniques on a digital image that started off as a .bmp as you would with a .tif, .psd, or any other format.

cheers,

Since Beauty Box uses the GPU of your video card, it's important to make sure you have the most up to date drivers. Photoshop also uses the GPU, so it will benefit as well, especially CS5. You can get drivers by going to:

For nVidia video cards:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index5.aspx?lang=en-us

For ATI video cards:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

Not having up to date drivers is the cause of a lot of the problems we're seeing. So if you're running into problems, please try this first. If you're not sure what video card you have, you can go to:

Help>About Photoshop Plugin>Beauty Box

And the Beauty Box About Box will tell you who makes your video card.

Thanks!
Jim

Well logo design inspiration is something that’s relative term, that is to say each one has a different

way of taking inspiration. If one takes inspiration from nature, another might get inspired from logo

designs. But some who strictly go by the requirement and an deep study of the subject.

Logo designs show the best results when a tag line is added to them, there are already many

logo designing that come with taglines and are a hit with the target audience
